one of the moves I have made recently...
It's been in our garage for almost FOUR years waiting to be painted. Yes, painted. I was planning to stain it a dark espresso color, but going with paint instead. Thought I should warn you. My neighbors keep stopping over as I am working on it and letting me know how devastated they are that I am PAINTING such a lovely piece-HA!
Posting a BEFORE picture here in hopes that an AFTER picture will show up sooner:)
Hope your day is Sunny!!
Project finished is way better than project waiting.... so on with the paint.
I am in the process of putting the books back on the book shelves. Shelves were painted 12 years ago and the books just stayed in permanent boxes while other things/books took their spaces. Life threw me a curve this year and finding that many of the books are DATED, I am dated in relationship to others and still some are perfect and back on the shelf! So this project is soon to be finished. Your project, point repeated, finished is grand; paint, stain or dust!

Can't resist another comment. I have my mother's dinning room table that will seat 20, in storage. None of my kids want it - so they think - and it does need refinishing.... but finally had an epiphany moment and realized I can paint and smug the piece and make it Swedish Modern and very chick indeed and have it used and if stained tables come back into vogue THEN I can have the table stained. Could be no one wants the table because they know they will inherit the family holiday meals... just had that thought.
