3 samples down, 2 to go.
The first is just a little solids doll quilt for our front window display (pics tomorrow!) Had a good time playing with circles and perle cotton...wanted to embellish it some more with creative stitches, but am running out of time:)
Next are a couple of samples out of Sandi Henderson's NEW fabric line Meadowsweet Two. The first is a Library Bag from her book Sewing Bits & Pieces. Fast, easy and colorful. This one went together really quickly and I am thrilled with the results. IN LOVE with the lining fabric:)Next is a quick runner out of a couple of the "berry" fabrics. The picture doesn't do the colors justice...bright, cheerful and yummy!
Well, back to work! I should have two more things to share in the next few days.
Also wanted to remind you that Sandi will be at Quilted Treasures NEXT WEDNESDAY, May 19th from 6-8pm for a book signing AND wine+cheese reception. Michael Miller fabrics was gracious enough to provide us with some amazing FABRIC PRIZES, check it out:
Everyone who attends Wednesday evening will receive a chance to win one of three HUGE FQ bundles. If you purchase Sandi's book that night, you will get TWO additional chances to win!! Must be present to win, drawing will take place at 7:45pm.
Hope you're having a great weekend!
