The quilt I am posting about was a gift from my mother-in-law Mary for our Wedding four years ago. It's a KING SIZE, Colorsplash Trip Around the World and it's made with gorgeous Fall Colors, our favorite!
It's pretty much the only quilt I haven't posted about before and the only quilt ever given to me as a gift. I think sometimes people think that it's weird to give "quilters" a quilt as a gift, but it's just as special, if not MORE:)
Check out the BEAUTIFUL Border Fabric...
Yummy huh? My friend Meg made us a bedskirt in this fabric too!
I'll keep this short and sweet since Amy has OVER 600 participants already! Join in on the FUN, lots of great prizes:) Thanks Amy for all of your hard work!!!

This is beautiful! I give quilts as gifts often and I always wonder if the person loves it as much as I do...the fact that you are sharing this and your mother in law gave it you speaks volumes of how much it meant to you! Thanks for sharing this wonderful quilt. You are very lucky to have someone who cares this much to give you such a beautiful gift. Good luck in your marriage. Stephanie

Is so nice that you have someone who enjoys quilting as much as you do. Your mother-in-law did an incredible job. That quilt is really beautiful.

I love the colours! You are so lucky to have gotten it, I think you're right though, quilters don't give each other quilts very often do they?

What a SUPER wedding gift!!! As a quilter, you can appreciate how much time and love went into making that quilt. Your MIL knew how much it would mean to you. A true gift of love. Enjoy and thanks for sharing! ; )
